Precision Ascent: Sole F80 Incline Motors (2016 - 2020)
Restore the high-intensity climbing capabilities of your machine with a genuine Sole F80 Treadmill Incline Motor, specifically engineered for models manufactured between 2016 and 2020. During this production era, the F80 utilized a robust linear actuator designed to lift the heavy-duty deck and handle the weight of the user under significant torque. If your treadmill is stuck at a 0% grade, fails to calibrate, or produces a loud grinding noise when you press the incline buttons, a replacement actuator is the key to returning your workouts to peak intensity.
Our OEM-spec incline motors for the 2016–2020 F80 are built to withstand the unique stresses of residential power-walking and running. Featuring a high-strength internal lead screw and reinforced gearing, these motors provide smooth, stable vertical transitions. Because Sole updated their frame designs and electronic configurations over the years, using a motor specifically gauged for this 2016–2020 vintage ensures the mounting points and electrical wire harnesses align perfectly with your existing hardware.
Features for the 2016–2020 F80 Series
Exact Calibration: Designed to sync perfectly with the console’s software to ensure "Level 15" on the screen matches the physical 15% grade.
Heavy-Duty Lifting Capacity: Engineered with a high-torque DC motor to raise and lower the deck smoothly, even while the user is mid-stride.
Quiet Operation: Internal lubrication and precision-fit housing minimize the mechanical "whirring" common in older or generic actuators.
Integrated Limit Switches: Built-in sensors prevent the motor from over-extending, protecting your treadmill frame and the motor itself from mechanical binding.
Signs of a Failing 2016–2020 Incline Actuator
Error Code E1 or E2: These codes on a 2016–2020 F80 console often indicate the incline motor is unable to find its "home" or zero position.
The "Incline Stuck" Phenomenon: The console display changes numbers, but the treadmill deck remains completely flat.
Mechanical Clicking: A repetitive clicking or popping sound when the motor attempts to engage, usually signaling stripped internal gears.
