Q: I bought my Sole F80 treadmill from Dick's Sporting Goods 4 years ago. The treadmill belt is slipping and skipping a bit. How long does this part usually last? The serial number is 5808182008053216. Is this the correct replacement part? Also, is this 1 ply or 2 ply? Is this for walking only, or running as well?

This part usually last 5 years or 2500 miles. This is a 2 ply and can be used for running as well. Just because the belt is skipping doesn't always mean you are due for a replacement. You may just need to add some tension to the belt. This can be done by turning both adjustment screws on the rear roller. Please add one full turn (clockwise) to each side. Make sure it is exactly 1 full turn (identical) on both sides.
