IMPORTANT
A new controller has been introduced as a better option of this controller.
The CRD020108 aka version 2
is a much more efficient controller with twice the drive motor capacitor design.
Consider upgrading to the version 2 controller if any of the below conditions apply to your situation.
1 - Your controller burnt within the first 3 years
2 - You walk for more than 45 min at a time
3 - You use your treadmill at least 5 days a week for more than 30 min a session.
4 - You Are Over 190lbs

Replaced board
Our treadmill started showing error code E7 after calling Sole the stated that the main board. After replacing with this one our treadmill has been working amazingly and is back to normal. Easy to install as well

Perfect replacement
Numbers on the labels were different from the original control board, but they looked identical. Not difficult to replace, but I had to strip away hot glue that had been applied at the factory to help keep the plugs from coming loose. Took extra care to make sure I put the red, black and white wires back on the same terminals as original. The board is not marked. Works like the original.

Great Part, Even BETTER Customer Service
The control board worked like a charm and fixed the E7/E5 problem. There was a problem with it slowing down before speeding up when it was first used. A quick call to customer service, and the very personable, funny and helpful associate emailed me the instructions to recalibrate it. Took about 5 minutes, and it now works perfectly. So, please remember to calibrate your treadmill after you install the board.

Some of the replacement boards come with a plate. Is this necessary?

Its recommended just incases the belt sacks something and ends up in the front. Its also great to have for heavy sweaters. Sweat landing on the belt is being flung in the motor area as the belt turns up.

Yes it will work. Yes the MPN (manufacturers part number) is CRD020118. SOL0114 is a SKU (stock Keeping unit) number. We track our inventory using our SKU numbers so does most retailers.

This is a very hard question because I am afraid I'll over analyze what's going on here. To answer it straight, I'd say by using a screw driver. Over analyzing and assuming that the screws are too hard to turn, they use a drill (please put your entire body weight on the drill or you will destroy the screws)
