This slide wheel can last up to 10 years when regularly lubricated with Sole's OEM rail lubricant. In fact, consistent lubrication can help extend the overall lifespan of your elliptical.
Why is this important? Most floors—especially basement floors—aren’t perfectly level. As a result, the wheels may try to shift or jump off track as you pedal. The lubricant helps by reducing traction, preventing the rubber wheels from running unevenly or on a crooked axis. This helps maintain the alignment of the frame and reduces long-term strain on both the machine and your body mechanics.
How much should you apply? Use an amount roughly the size of a toothpaste squeeze per rail, once a month. No need to spread it manually—let the wheels do the work as you use the machine.
