Maintain the smooth, dependable power of your treadmill with the Genuine Sole F60 OEM Drive Belt. This "Poly-V" style belt is the critical link between your 2.25–2.5 CHP drive motor and the front roller. Because the F60 is Sole’s entry-level powerhouse, the drive belt must be specifically engineered to handle rapid speed changes and high-torque starts without slipping or stretching.
Using the correct OEM specification for the F60 is vital. A belt that is too thin will "chirp" under load, while one that is the wrong length will put excessive lateral pressure on the motor bearings, leading to a costly motor failure.
OEM Part Number: N011007 (Standard for the 2012–2020+ Series).
Rib Count: 6-Rib design.
Compatibility: Used specifically on the Sole F60 (Serial prefixes 560812, 560813, 560814 and newer).
Unlike the walking belt, which wears down from friction, the drive belt usually fails due to heat and material fatigue. Replace your F60 drive belt if you notice:
The "Slipping" Sensation: You feel the walking belt "pause" for a fraction of a second when your foot strikes, but the motor is still spinning.
Fine Black Dust: Finding a pile of black "soot" or rubber shavings inside the motor shroud is a sign the belt ribs are disintegrating.
The High-Pitch Squeal: A sharp "chirping" sound that occurs only when you accelerate or during heavy use indicates the belt has lost its grip.
Visible Cracking: If you can see small horizontal cracks on the ribbed side of the belt, it is on the verge of snapping.
To ensure your new F60 drive belt lasts for years without damaging the motor:
Check the Tension: Once installed, you should be able to twist the drive belt about 45 to 90 degrees using your thumb and forefinger at the midpoint between the motor and the roller.
Avoid Over-Tightening: If the belt is so tight that it has zero "give," it will pull the motor shaft out of alignment, causing the internal motor bearings to growl and eventually fail.
The Pulley Cleanse: Before putting on the new belt, use a stiff brush to clean any old rubber debris out of the grooves on the motor pulley and the front roller. This ensures the new 6-rib belt seats perfectly.
