Sole F80 Motor Control Board (2016 - 2020) Version 2. 110v

Question

Q: Just purchased version 2 control board for the 2020 sole f80. The incline control on the board has a plastic cover, where the old just had a three pin array. How is this supposed to work. Also, getting an e3 error on incline control.

Q: I have a Sole F80 treadmill. Serial# 5808161808041065, Date code 2018.3Q. When I jog for 2 miles it is fine but when I start to increase the speed it will trip the overload on the treadmill. The overload resets instantly. I don't need to let it cool down. I've also noticed that when I start to increase the speed it seems to hesitate like going into neutral for a second or two before it starts to speed up. I've adjusted the belt and lubricated the belt, I checked the motor brushes and they're good, I've replaced the overload with a new one, I ran the calibration mode, cleaned and adjusted the speed sensor, and checked to make sure the drive belt is not slipping. Do you think it could be the motor control board? Thanks.

Hello, can you please submit a picture of what your describing? I am assuming you meant to say "the incline sensor portal"? Yes you will have an incline error if the incline sensor is not connected. Please also provide your order number, I cant find an order under your name. Thanks

A: Yes these 2 controllers connections are 100% identical. If for some reason something you run into any issue during installation just call us and we will walk you through.

A: There is no wiring diagram for this because every connection is labeled.

A: Hello all of those are not this controllers part number but I was able to to figure out your model number from the first part. Yes this controller fits the A512.

Mike,
Based on my experience its less likely to be the controller (controllers are usually black and white, they work 100% or 0%) and more likely to be the motor or the belt and deck. I am assuming you've had this treadmill for 8 years? Is this the original belt? If you believe there are more than 2500 miles on this treadmill, I'd think the belt needs to be replaced and possibly the deck unless if you can confirm that it is perfectly smooth.
