I have tried every suggestion given and the unit will not work consistently. About the time heart rate levels out it drops out to zero and takes another minute or so to get close to leveling out. __________SOLE PARTS RESPONSE - Hello Vernon, would you like us to send you another strap to try out? It could be a bad strap, a dead battery (yes batteries sometimes die before straps are used), the machine itself, or environmental interference (Wi-Fi, security camera, dog fence, etc.). I purchased a F80 treadmill hoping to use this heart rate monitor with it. This won't connect. I received a second one and it still doesn't connect. I've replaced batteries, ensured the conductors were wet and tried to connect them to other ANT+ devices. I'm not convinced this product was ever tested.

It eventually does its job
Yeah, this chest strap has problems. It's usually slow to ramp up to what my heart rate is, meanwhile the treadmill is taking me way beyond where I want to be, speedwise. Then the monitor seems to recognize my correct heart rate, but it will lose my heart rate a time or two. Eventually it gets a hold of my heart rate and stays with it. The first five or ten minutes is when this monitor just doesn't seem accurate.

I see you have two heart rate straps listed on the site; this one and the "Sole Heart Rate Monitor - Bluetooth ANT+ HR Sensor". I'm trying to decide which to buy. I have two questions: 1) Which will work more reliably (stable connection, good BPM updates) with the 2023 model Sole LCR? 2) Which will work more reliably with apps on my mobile device (Zwift, Kinomap, MapMyRide, etc)?

Hello,
They both have the same transition radius towards the hardware (bike in this case). The aftermarket option seems to work slightly better with fitness apps (zwift, peloton strava etc).

Sole OEM Wireless Heart Rate Strap Part Number: SOL0410 Will this item transmit and work on IOS apps? I've tried the Sole, Polar and Orange Theory apps but so far they don't detect any devices.

That's something we haven't verified. This strap came out about 20 years ago. I'd recommend trying the one below. This will broadcast a radio signal like the OEM, and you can also pair it via bluetooth.

Will this connect to a PIxel 6 to be used with Supernatural as a heart rate tracker? i've had it for at least 5 years, so I replaced the battery in it, but it still doesn't see it as a device to pair to when i'm wearing it. do I not have it wet enough, or does it just not work this way. i think it's a BLE strap, and BLE supposedly works with the supernatural app.

Hello, you cant pair this strap as it has no Bluetooth capability. We offer this aftermarket strap which can be used via Bluetooth and analogue.

No this strap only puts out antenna signal. But the one below puts out both antenna and blue tooth signals. So you can see this one on your mobile device.
