Sole Elliptical Nylon Wave Washer - Goes in between the pedal arm and cross bar (crank arm) connection. This gets paired with the Large metal wave washer. Without it, there will be some lateral play in the machines movements.

Stopped the arms "clunking"

I purchased our elliptical from a sports warehouse and assumed it was assembled correctly. When you used the elliptical the arms would make a clunking noise as they moved left to right on the pivoting bar. There was a nylon washer on the inside of each bar but the noise was coming from the bars hitting the metal washer at the end of the slide bar. By installing nylon washers on both sides of the arm, the noise was eliminated. I do not believe that this is the original intent but there was enough "slop" on both arms between the body and the slide bar washer to install it this way.
