Is your treadmill stuck at a 15% grade, or do you find yourself mashing the handle button multiple times just to get a response?
The Sole F63 is designed for "hands-on" training, placing the most used controls—Speed and Incline—directly on the handlebars. The Incline Adjustment Switch (Part #022559 / N110002A) is a high-cycle tactile rocker switch. Because these buttons are positioned exactly where sweat accumulates during a hard run, they are prone to internal corrosion or "sticky" contacts over time. Our Genuine OEM Sole F63 Incline Switch includes the integrated wiring harness and "plug-and-play" connector to restore instant, effortless elevation changes to your workout.
This isn't a generic push-button; it’s an OEM assembly calibrated for the specific resistance logic of the Sole console.
Integrated Wire Harness: Comes pre-soldered to the specific 300mm–600mm lead wire (depending on your model year), ensuring you don't have to deal with delicate wiring or heat-shrink tubing.
Sealed Tactile Feedback: Engineered with a distinct "click" feel so you can confirm your adjustment without looking down from the console while running at high speeds.
Sweat-Resistant Housing: The internal switch is shielded to help prevent moisture from your hands from causing the short-circuits that lead to "phantom" incline movements.
Multi-Generation Fitment: While the external plastic covers have changed, this internal switch assembly remains the standard for F63 models from 2011 through the 2026 Z-frame series.
The "Hard Press": You have to push the button with significant force to get the incline to move.
One-Way Movement: The treadmill will incline up, but the "Down" button is completely unresponsive (or vice versa).
Phantom Incline: The treadmill begins to incline or decline on its own without any user input—often a sign of a salt/moisture short inside the switch.
Erratic Jumps: Pressing the button once causes the incline to jump multiple levels or move to the max setting instantly.
Replacing the switch is one of the easiest DIY repairs on a Sole treadmill:
Step 1: Locate the small Phillips head screw on the underside of the handlebar plastic shroud.
Step 2: Gently pop the top and bottom plastic covers apart. Note: Be careful not to snap the plastic tabs.
Step 3: Unplug the old switch from the wire harness inside the handlebar.
Step 4: Snap the new switch into the housing and reconnect the plug.
Pro Tip: Before snapping the plastic covers back together, apply a small piece of electrical tape around the connector. This adds an extra layer of protection against sweat "wicking" into the plug in the future.
Take back control of your climb.
